Welcome to St. Anne Ukrainian Dance School.  We are a community based, non-profit organization located at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 455 Douglas Avenue in the North Kildonan area of Winnipeg.  This year we are celebrating our 26th year of operation.  We offer Ukrainian dance classes from age 4 to young adults, as well as an all adult class.  Dancers range from beginners to the more experienced levels, at all ages.

St. Anne Ukrainian Dance School has taught hundreds of dancers over the years.  We have performed at such locations as the Kyiv Pavilion at Folklorama, the Lyric Theatre at Assiniboine Park, the Veselka Festival in Teulon, MB, The Forks, Centennial Concert Hall, the Pantages Playhouse Theatre and Jubilee Place Theatre.  We have also performed at many Malanka Celebrations (Ukrainian New Years),banquets, anniversaries, fundraisers, and senior centers.  

Our school is well-established with various levels of dance classes. Classes are taught by qualified dance instructors with much dance experience.  All dancers participate in an Annual Spring Concert at Jubilee Place Theatre.  Our dance classes are held on Tuesday evenings from September to May.

In addition to the regular dance practices, we also offer...

• "Parents' Night" - an open house for parents mid-way through the year
• "Bring a Friend Day"- an opportunity for dancers to bring a friend
• "A Year End Concert" which all dancers participate
• costume inventory - to provide rental items to meet some of your costuming needs
• a professional photographer to take individual and class pictures (optional)
• minimal fundraising
• occasional opportunities for additional performances 
• great exercise - mentally and physically, while forming friendships and teamwork

and of course...

• a chance to learn what is an important part of the Ukrainian culture - dance
